Lisa & Lex dance together in their own niche. The slow motion accentuates the similarities and differences that their movements share. They dance in time and then they drift; gestures are similar and then change, sometimes sensual, sometimes humourous. Throughout the routine, they exchange roles, he takes on a more female gait and she mimics the male. Their flesh never touches, although sometimes comes close as they compete for the space their movements fill. Who are they dancing for? Can they see each other? Are they together? The eight minutes seek to embody some of the complexities that a longer relationship might hold.
